Returning Your Online Order

At Weir & Sons, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery and timepieces. However, should you wish to return your online purchase, we will be pleased to offer a refund in accordance with the conditions outlined below.

Item(s) may be returned within 28 days of delivery, provided they have not been worn, altered, or damaged, and remain in the same condition as when sold. Returns may be made by post or in-store.

To ensure a smooth process, all items must be returned in their original packaging, together with any booklets, guarantees, and certificates supplied at the time of purchase.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

In the case of a gift, the delivery docket may serve as a gift receipt, in which case an exchange may be offered. To arrange this, please contact our Customer Support Team by phone or email.

Where Weir & Sons has reasonable grounds to believe an item has been worn, altered, or damaged after delivery, we reserve the right to decline a full refund. Each request will be reviewed with fairness and consideration, as we always aim to maintain the highest level of customer care.

All returned goods must be insured by the sender and dispatched via registered post at the customer’s expense. Please include a copy of your proof of purchase with your return.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and bespoke reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Earrings

  • Gift cards

  • Personalised items

  • Special or made-to-order pieces

  • Worn or altered items

  • Damaged items


How to Return Your Online Order

Please complete the returns form provided with your order and enclose it with the item you are returning.
If you no longer have a form, please email our team and we will be happy to send you a replacement.

If reusing the original shipping box, please remove or cover previous delivery details and ensure the package is securely sealed.

Items must be returned via registered post. Please note that Weir & Sons will refund the value of the item only and cannot reimburse postage or courier costs.

Customers may also return items in-store, provided all return conditions are met (including the returns form and original packaging). Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

Please allow up to 30 days from receipt of your return for processing. You will be contacted by phone or email to confirm completion of your refund.


Exchanging Your Online Order

Weir & Sons is pleased to offer exchanges under the same conditions outlined for returns. Items may be exchanged within 28 days of purchase, provided they have not been worn, altered, or damaged, and remain in their original condition and packaging.

To initiate an exchange, please complete the returns form provided with your order and indicate the item you would like in exchange, including the product code if applicable.

In the event of a price difference between the returned and requested item, we will either:

  • Refund the difference if the new item is of lesser value, or

  • Contact you to arrange payment for any additional amount if the new item is of greater value.

We strongly recommend contacting our Customer Support Team before sending items back for an exchange. This allows us to:

  • Check stock availability

  • Notify the relevant departments of the incoming exchange

  • Place the requested item(s) on hold, ensuring it is ready once your original item is received

Exchanged items should be sent via registered post, including a copy of your completed returns form. Exchanges may also be arranged in-store, provided all conditions are met.

Refunds or adjustments related to price differences will be processed to the original payment method once the exchange has been completed.

Item(s) can be returned for exchange or refund provided that they have not been worn and are in the same condition that they were sold. You have 28 days from date of delivery to return your order if you wish to do so. Items can be returned by post and dropped in store.

We aim to refund all returns within a timely manner, but we guarantee that all refunds will be made within 30 days of receiving the returned goods. If goods are not suitable condition to be refunded or returned upon arrival, we will contact you. Refunds exclude the cost of delivery. Weir & Sons Online Returns Policy is exclusive to the Weir & Sons website and does not apply to thr in-store returns policy.

 

Note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot exchange or refund earrings unless defective or faulty. Other items that cannot be exchanged or returned for refund include items that have been engraved, created as bespoke or altered, unless defective or faulty.
