“Our philosophy is quite simple, we want to offer affordable luxury. It is important for women to spoil themselves occasionally, without feeling guilty. If a piece of Juvi can do that, then we are truly delighted!”
In 2006 Julie and Vincent created
Juvi, the husband and wife duo combined both of their passions to create a brand with the goal of affordable luxury. Over ten years on, they have expanded their ranges and used their love of jewellery and travel to bring new and exciting collaborations of stones and styles to the market. Each piece of their jewellery is carefully crafted from sterling silver and then plated with either gold or rose gold to suit the wearer’s tastes. The combination of Vincent’s experience as a silversmith and Julie’s background in interior design have complimented each other to produce a unique and loved range of jewellery.
The newest collection
to be released by Juvi is the coral collection, which is their first range to incorporate rose gold. This collection was inspired by their travels to the Philippines where they enjoyed the blue hues of the sea and the colours of the sunsets, which shows in their chosen stones and cuts. A personal favourite is their Seadrop earrings in iolite with yellow gold plating, which are also beautiful in aqua chalcedony and perfectly embody the colours of the ocean during the day and night.

Released just in time for the summer, the coral collection continues to bring some of the wanderlust of Julie and Vincent’s travels to the everyday wearable jewellery that they create. All their collections are designed and made in Ireland and bring a new direction to the traditional design of Irish jewellery.
For me, the Juvi brand is all about the bold colours of their gems. Each of their pieces can either be worn to make it’s own statement or the finishing piece to add a touch of understated elegance to any outfit. One of my all time favourite pieces would be the
glamour puss pendant from their Antibes collection. Available in a wide range of colours it can be hard to pick just one, but since it’s the summer I feel the
Aqua Chalcedony is the perfect addition to any jewellery lovers collection. This piece was also featured on the cover of the Weirs fashion room supplement.

This green onyx cocoa pod is also on the list of favourites at Weir & Sons and it’s clear to see why; the vibrant stone makes this an eye-catching piece. It comes in both silver and yellow gold and is part of the cocoa pod collection. It can be bought with matching earrings and rings to make the perfect present. This collection was inspired when the couple visited a cocoa plantation in Mexico and the collection incorporates the some of the more vibrant coloured stones.

These cute studs are part of the
Egadi collection and are only recent additions to the fashion room but are an absolute must have piece. The collection contains a range of shaped stones in both sterling silver and gold vermeil and was inspired by the Egadi Islands off the coast of Sicily. This photo is from their instagram page which is great for inspiring new purchases and giving anyone a healthy dose of wanderlust.

I would consider Juvi to be a top go-to brands because of their selection of colours available, compared to other brands they allow the wearer to express their love of colours. We always looking forward to see what the next stones are or whether they have any new products for us to ogle.
All the featured products and more are available from the
Fashion Room downstairs at Weir and Sons on Grafton Street.
Hope to see you soon!
