Weir & Sons are delighted to welcome the creators of Legendary jewellery since 1893, Mikimoto to our brand new Event Room on the lower ground floor at Grafton Street. This year, Mikimoto celebrate125 years of luxurious and fine jewellery design and we are delighted to present some of these wonderful pieces.

The originators of the cultured pearl, Kokichi Mikimoto said his dream was to "adorn the necks of all the women around the world in pearls". This world famous and historical brand dates back to 1893 and has been creating breathtaking, luxurious pearl jewellery for generations. World leaders in the design of exceptional jewellery and one of the largest producers of fine cultured pearls in the world, the Mikimoto name is synonymous with superior quality including material selection, exceptional workmanship, jewellery design and delivery of product and service to customers.

The exhibition collection features an exciting expo of some of the finest pieces Mikimoto have created. Take a walk through the exhibition space to discover pieces from the Praise to Nature collection, a collection of fine pearl, diamond and gemstone jewellery inspired by the intricate beauties of nature; the Marilyn Monroe collection, which features pieces inspired by the necklace famously created for the star to wear on her honeymoon with Joe DiMaggio in 1954; and many more beautiful, fun and awe-inspiring pieces.

These remarkable pieces will be exhibited and available to purchase for a limited time only at Weir & Sons Grafton street. This exhibition will be displayed for most of the month of June: fitting that Pearl is the birthstone for June, too. This display is perfect for jewellery lovers, pearl fanatics, brides-to-be seeking inspiration and anybody with a love for design, detail and fine jewellery.
