Patek Philippe Introduce 3 New Models
Following Patek Philippe’s announcement of the 1000 unit – limited edition Calatrava Ref. 6007/1A-001, the Geneve based watchmaker reveals three new models to add to their already outstanding, Realm of the Extraordinary collection - Grand Complications. Two new references of the existing models come in the form of the Ref. 5270J-001 and Ref. 5370P-011 with the Ref. 5303R-001 being a newly introduced model, only previously seen as a limited edition of 12 watches for last year’s Patek Philippe – Watch Art Grand Exhibition Singapore 2019.
Ref. 5270 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph
Originally introduced in 2011, the Ref. 5270 premiered Patek Philippe’s first chronograph movement with a perpetual calendar complication, completely designed and produced by the independent watchmaker. In 2020, we see a new reference of the symbolic model, the Ref. 5270J-001 - featuring for the first time, a yellow gold case with a silvery opaline dial, gold applied hour markers and completed by a brown alligator, folding clasp strap. The incredible Caliber CH 29-535 PS Q is visible through the sapphire crystal case back and provides 28,800 vibrations an hour with a power reserve of 55 – 65 hours. The true heir to Patek Philippe’s iconic 1941, Ref. 1518 and an excellent addition to the already impressive Ref. 5270 collection.
Ref. 5370 Split-Seconds Chronograph
The eye-catching blue dial on the Ref. 5370P-011 revitalizes the Patek Philippe tradition of grand feu enamel dials, a contemporary addition to one of Patek Philippe’s most limited models. The 41 mm platinum case features a sapphire crystal case back, with an additional platinum case back and houses the outstanding 312 components, Caliber CHR 29-535 PS – a manual-wound, split-second chronograph with a power reserve of 55 – 65 hours. This example of pure excellence from Patek Philippe is completed by a shiny dusk blue alligator strap with a fold-over clasp. The 5370 is a remarkable model from Patek Philippe with a height of 13.56 mm and featuring one of the most desired and sophisticated complications from Patek Philippe.
Ref. 5303 Minute Repeater Tourbillon
Combining technical complexity, with an elegant design – the Ref. 5303R was first seen last year as a limited-edition release and now joins the Grand Complication collection of Patek Philippe. Created explicitly for connoisseurs of chiming watches, the Ref.5303R is the first timepiece from the Swiss watchmaker to offer a clear view on the dial side – of the striking mechanism’s hammers and gong. The manual wound R TO 27 PS provides a clear display of the minute repeater and exceptional tourbillion complication through both sides of the timepiece – completing the aesthetic is the rose gold 42 mm case with white-gold intarsias engraved with foliage motifs and a black shiny alligator strap on a fold-over clasp. A superb addition to one of the finest collections of minute repeaters, allowing you to view the complexity of hammer and gongs in action.
Each of the above models features the Patek Philippe Seal hallmarked on movement - the Patek Philippe Seal relies on several carefully defined criteria that are committed to writing in detailed directives and supervised by an independent monitoring entity.
